Chest Injury International Database

The Chest Injury International Database (CIID) is a HIPAA compliant cloud-based data repository for the members of the Chest Wall Injury Society to support an international research effort. It has been designed by thought-leaders from within the society - and is powered by technology from Firefly Labs. It has been funded internally by CWIS, as well as generous industry partners.
After many years of work, the CWIS Database Committee is proud to announce the fully functional CIID product, including creation of an electronic "startup packet" to facilitate onboarding of sites from a regulatory perspective
Members are encouraged to register and complete the necessary documentation within their institutions to participate with the project. Users will access CIID via the CWIS website and will be provided a unique username and password upon completion of their respective facility privacy agreements.
The Chest Injury International Database is a keystone to the research infrastructure being developed to support our members in their efforts, as it will allow members from around the world to contribute to and access shared data sets for analyses. The Chest Wall Injury Society envisions a vast repository with a robust research infrastructure that will support members in their efforts to further chest wall injury research within their own facilities and multi-center trials.
