Coalition for National Trauma Research
To enhance trauma research in the U.S., the Coalition for National Trauma Research coordinates research efforts across professional organizations spanning the continuum of injury care, strengthens the national infrastructure for multicenter investigation, and advocates for sustainable research funding commensurate with the burden of disease.
Together, their current members represent more than 232,000 professionals in diverse medical fields and trauma care environments including adult and pediatric trauma, burn, orthopedic and neurological surgeons; radiologists; anesthesiologists; emergency physicians, trauma nurses and EMS providers; trauma centers; pharmacists; geriatric and rehabilitation specialists; and survivor and patient support communities.
